Review-Believe by Ladybird

Cheers everyone, Smashhead (Adwaita) here. Today I am presenting my first review ! We have " Believe " by LADYBIRD, a punk rock band from Agartala, Tripura. The band consist of  Nuai (Vocals), Steven(Rhythm/Keyboard), Wilson (Lead Guitar)

Composition :-

I always grew up listening to punk bands like Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Simple Plan etc till I got into metal genre. Nevertheless I kept on listening. Moving on to Believe , the composition is really good as per first attempt. They are young and they got the guts to try out what they are doing when the whole city is involved in metal!metal!metal! (GOOD FOR US :P) . The songs starts off with a melodic tone in key board..with acoustic guitar joining in accompanied by warm vocals and the keyboard fill in. But the beginning does remembers me of Simple Plan, but as they agrees they sound like Simple Plan I will take it as a positive point. The short leads were perfectly placed and shows a good imagination in writing process. During the lead,  2:50-3:04 ; the vocals could have been presented in a different way. It's the only part I felt odd in the song but after the lead the song quickly again returned back to its position. The lyrics was really good as per the time the band is in the scene. The vocalist did some mistakes in pronouncing but music is music, it sounded good. The band is a big threat to other new bands, cause they are damn good. I wish them luck.

Production-

The song was recorded in Red Line Studio and I am very happy with the effort. The mixing was done with dedication. But He could have played with acoustic guitar's EQ and gain. More warmness in the acoustic guitar would have made the song more wonderful. Overall it's a good quality music production looking at the scene of having no professional studio.

Rating- 3.5/5
